Leeds Castle Fireworks Night
Lately I have not been updating the blog as often as I should, I have a backlog of images and posts in my mind that need to be bought out into the open.
So to start the posts off we have a visit to Leeds Castle which took place tonight.
Now Leeds Castle alway manage to put on a grand display, and even with drizzle coming down and a chill in the air you seem to forget about the weather and just enjoy the location and the display.
Here are two images from the nights display.

Military Odyssey with the 70-200……
Today saw me revisiting the Military Odyssey show, however this time I decided it would be an outing for the DSLR before it started sulking due to lack of everyday use.
So I grabbed the camera and fitted the 70-200 and headed off early doors to get there as the show ground opened, the day was great even the weather gods were kind and held the rain at bay all day.
Since I had some flexibility with focal length today I wanted to try and find some interesting faces and scenes that I could isolate from the busy show-ground and the general public that swamped the show today being as it was the Bank Holiday.
My thinking for the processing was vintage, so most of the images have been treated to the same post processing to try and give the images a feel of the era.
I hope you manage to find something in the slideshow that takes your fancy, or reminds you of the show if you attended.
I can see myself visiting this show every August Bank Holiday from now on as I enjoyed both my days at the event.
